Acutronic is looking for a Project Manager who will be responsible for technical, schedule, and cost performance of complex projects in accordance with contract requirements. The PM drives project teams to successfully meet these objectives by managing the technical direction of projects through the entire project lifecycle. The Project Manager will report performance both internally and externally and is responsible for setting and managing customer expectations.Project ManagerYour Roles/Responsibilities:Provides support in the development of cost and schedule estimates, along with risk and opportunities, for bid and proposal opportunitiesEnsures customer requirements and specifications are appropriately captured, communicated, and achieved throughout the lifecycle of the contractGenerates Integrated Master Schedules and tracks project status throughout project lifecyclesDevelops risk and opportunities, registers for projects throughout execution, including cost, schedule, and technical. Manages emergent issues including the development of mitigation and contingency plansPartners with resource managers to assign resources and allocate/resolve resource conflicts to projects in accordance with key delivery datesMinimizes project scope growth through strong change control practices to include the development of change proposals to customersCalculates Estimate at Completion/Estimate to Completion for projects and develops mitigation plans to address any resulting cost or schedule growthPerforms variance analysis for actual results to the Forecast and Annual Operating PlanWorks with Head of Program Management to negotiate updates to the project plan for all changes related to cost and scheduleDocuments and formally disseminates lessons learned after the completion of projects to all stakeholdersManages the integration of key supplier tasks to the overall Integrated Master Schedule to ensure changes in supplier deliverable dates do not impact key project deliverable datesOversees and manages the operational aspects of projects and serves as liaison between project management, operations, project team, senior leadership, and the customerYour Profile/Qualifications/Skills:Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Business, or a related field of study from an accredited college or university requiredMaster's Degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Business, or a related field of study from an accredited college or university preferredProject Management Professional (PMP) certification preferredMinimum of five years relevant experience, seven years preferredAerospace/defense Industry experience preferredExperience with ERP systemsA combination of education and experience will be consideredWe Offer: Employer-paid medical, dental, and vision insurance401k matchCompany-paid holidays and Paid-Leave Time9/80 or a 4/10 flex schedule optionAbout Acutronic:The Acutronic Group has a proud history of building technologies and teams that are crucial to the aerospace, defense, and transportation industries.Acutronic’s Simulation & Test Division is the global market leader in high-performance motion simulation and test equipment.
