Job Title: Senior Salesforce Administrator (Production support)Duration: Long term, ongoing contract, Only W2Location: Livonia, MIOnly W2, No sponorshipPosition OverviewWe are seeking a highly experienced Senior Salesforce Administrator to serve as a dedicated production support and platform optimization resource within an enterprise Salesforce environment. This role will operate within a managed services model, supporting multiple stakeholders while proactively maintaining platform health, performance, and scalability.This individual will combine strong technical administration capabilities with business-facing communication skills and a forward-looking mindset to anticipate platform impacts, manage releases, and drive continuous improvement.Key ResponsibilitiesSalesforce Administration & SupportAdminister and support enterprise Salesforce environments, ensuring optimal performance and reliabilityManage user roles, profiles, permissions, and data security modelsPerform configuration changes including workflows, flows, validation rules, and page layoutsMonitor system performance and proactively address issuesRelease & Change ManagementReview and assess Salesforce seasonal release notes and platform updatesEvaluate business impact and communicate recommendations to stakeholdersCoordinate and execute enhancements, updates, and minor configuration changesData Management & ComplianceManage data quality, storage utilization, and archiving strategiesEnsure compliance with internal governance and regulatory requirementsSupport data imports, exports, and deduplication effortsIntegrations & Technical OversightSupport and monitor integrations between Salesforce and external systemsCoordinate with development and integration teams as neededTroubleshoot integration-related issuesLicensing & OptimizationManage Salesforce licensing and usageProvide recommendations to optimize license allocation and cost efficiencyProduction Support & Issue ResolutionServe as a primary point of contact for Salesforce-related issuesParticipate in on-call production support rotationRapidly diagnose and resolve system errors, user issues, and alertsProactive Platform ManagementAnticipate upcoming platform changes and business impactsIdentify opportunities for process improvements and automationMaintain documentation and best practicesQualificationsRequiredActive Salesforce Certified Administrator credentialMinimum 5+ years of Salesforce administration experienceExperience supporting enterprise-scale Salesforce environmentsBackground in managed services, consulting, or multi-stakeholder environmentsStrong expertise in:Configuration (Flows, Validation Rules, Objects)Security & access controlsReporting & dashboardsAutomation & process optimizationData managementPreferredAdditional Salesforce certifications (Advanced Admin, Platform App Builder)Experience with Service Cloud, Sales Cloud, or Financial Services CloudExposure to DevOps tools (Gearset, Copado, etc.)
