Job SummaryThe Floor Host serves as the primary point of contact on the office floor, delivering a hospitality-focused experience to guests, visitors, and internal clients. This role provides visible, proactive support by assisting with meetings, answering questions, supporting workspace needs, and connecting individuals with the appropriate resources to ensure a seamless workplace experience.Schedule: Monday through FridayHours: 8:30 AM to 5:30 PMLocation: Midtown ManhattanKey ResponsibilitiesProvide real-time support for meetings across all office floors, including greeting organizers and guests and ensuring rooms are set up according to requirements (lighting, supplies, audiovisual equipment, temperature, etc.).Conduct regular floor tours to ensure all spaces are clean, organized, and in optimal condition.Anticipate customer needs and provide first-point-of-contact resolution for questions and issues, in person, via email, or by phone.Support the client's hoteling and mobile work environment by assisting guests with workspace reservations and optimizing the use of meeting rooms and work areas.Monitor meeting room usage, including no-shows, proper occupancy, and scheduled start and end times.Coordinate with facilities and maintenance teams by submitting tickets and communicating issues such as furniture damage, carpet stains, or lighting concerns.Provide in-meeting support as needed and reset rooms following meetings.Ensure all equipment is properly stored, secured, or set up for upcoming meetings.Capture and report data related to customer interactions and service activities.Adhere to Forrest Solutions and client policies, procedures, and safety regulations.Participate in required training sessions.Qualifications2-3 years of experience in hospitality, hotel/restaurant operations, event planning, or a related service industry preferredStrong technical skills, including Microsoft Office Suite, Google Docs, and audiovisual equipmentAbility to stand for extended periods of time and work in a fast-paced environmentProfessional demeanor with strong communication and listening skillsAbility to interact effectively with clients at all professional levelsCommitment to maintaining a polished, professional appearanceAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran.
