The institution is committed to preserving cultural heritage and providing enriching experiences for residents and visitors alike.Role DescriptionThe Manager of Events and Corporate Engagement will oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of all museum events, including exhibitions, fundraisers, and community outreach initiatives. This full-time, on-site role based in Rockland, ME, involves collaborating with internal teams, vendors, and corporate partners to ensure successful events and partnerships. The Manager will also be responsible for strengthening relationships with sponsors, developing creative engagement strategies, and managing event budgets and logistics to achieve organizational goals.QualificationsEvent planning, coordination, and execution experienceStrong skills in building and maintaining corporate partnerships and sponsor engagementExcellent organizational and time management abilities to handle multiple projects effectivelyProven communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills for both internal teams and external stakeholdersExperience with budgeting, resource allocation, and vendor managementFamiliarity with arts, museums, or cultural institutions is an assetAbility to think creatively and strategically when developing new event and engagement initiativesBachelor’s degree in Event Management, Marketing, Business, or a related field preferredProficiency with event management software or tools is a plusFlexibility to work evenings or weekends as needed for eventsForward cover letter and resume to:https://farnsworthartmuseum.org/careers
