This role combines hands-on grounds maintenance work with leadership accountability and is directly responsible for delivering projects on time, on budget, and to DLL’s quality standards.Core ResponsibilitiesCrew Leadership & Development:Provide clear daily direction to assigned crew membersTrain employees on proper equipment operation, safety protocols, and company standardsMonitor performance and provide real-time coaching and feedbackHold crew accountable for productivity, quality, punctuality, safety, and professionalismProvide performance feedback to Production ManagerDaily Operations Management:Conduct daily morning huddles to review:Schedule and job prioritiesTime estimates and productivity goalsCustomer expectations and feedbackExecute and oversee landscape maintenance services including mowing, trimming, edging, blowing, and enhancementsEnsure work is completed correctly the first time (“no go-backs”)Conduct routine site inspections to verify quality standardsIdentify enhancement opportunities and communicate recommendationsProductivity & Accountability:Manage labor hours to meet or exceed weekly crew productivity goalsAdjust workflow as needed to maintain efficiencyEnsure all crew members accurately clock in/out and record breaks in LMNCommunicate workload changes to Production Manager promptlySafety & Compliance:Enforce all company safety policies and proceduresIdentify and correct job-site hazards immediatelyEnsure Proper Use Of PPE And Required Company AttireRequire seatbelt use and compliance with all motor vehicle lawsPromote a safety-first culture at all timesCustomer Relationship Management:Serve as on-site point of contact when neededGreet customers professionally and address concerns promptlyEscalate service issues to Production Manager before leaving the siteDocument customer issues or notes in LMNEquipment & Resource Management:Train crew on proper equipment usage to reduce wear and unnecessary repairsEnsure efficient use of materials and suppliesCommunicate supply and repair needs to Production ManagerWhat we offer:Competitive pay aligned with the high end of industry standardsMedical and Dental insurance optionsIRA matchingPaid Time Off and Holiday PayAnnual BonusLearning and Development Opportunities
