SQL Database Administrator

SQL Database Administrator (DBA)We are seeking an experienced SQL Database Administrator (DBA) to support a large-scale cloud migration initiative involving the transformation of legacy Oracle databases and Oracle Forms applications to Microsoft SQL Server and cloud-based platforms. This role will be responsible for database administration, migration planning, data conversion, performance optimization, and modernization efforts associated with migrating Oracle Forms-dependent applications to a SQL Server backend architecture. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise across Oracle, Oracle Forms, SQL Server, and cloud migration technologiesKey ResponsibilitiesLead and support enterprise database migration initiatives from Oracle to Microsoft SQL Server in cloud-hosted environmentsAnalyze existing Oracle database structures, Oracle Forms applications, PL/SQL code, and dependencies to develop migration and modernization strategiesAssess Oracle Forms functionality and work with development teams to support application remediation, replacement, or modernization effortsDesign, build, configure, and maintain SQL Server databases across development, test, and production environmentsParticipate in migration testing, cutover planning, data validation, and post-production supportRequired Qualifications5+ years of database administration experience in enterprise environmentsStrong experience administering Microsoft SQL Server databasesHands-on experience supporting Oracle databases and Oracle-to-SQL Server migration projectsExperience working with Oracle Forms applications, including analysis of forms, reports, triggers, and database interactionsProficiency in T-SQL and Oracle PL/SQL development and troubleshooting
