Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT)

The Movement Guild is looking for a part time licensed massage therapist with a minimum of three years of experience and qualified in sports, Swedish, and clinical massage. Our ideal candidate must be amenable to feedback and comfortable working as a team with our physical therapists, personal trainers and other LMTs. Job requirements: -maintain professional relationships with clients and colleagues -maintain current IL licensure and continued education hours -contribute positively to a safe and highly skilled environment -consult with clients and peers to identify appropriate treatment strategies -participate in staff meetings, team events, and trainings -contribute to community outreach -understand the movement guild's shared movement fundamentals -ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming space for clients -comply with all applicable rules and regulations -maintain SOAP notes -accompany clients to and from treatment room -assist with keeping linens clean, tidy, and replacing between sessions -excellent communication and people skills -comfortable working diverse client pool Job Type: Part-time Pay: From $55.00 per hour Benefits: Continuing education credits Employee discount Schedule: Monday to Friday Weekends as needed Supplemental Pay: Tips Ability to commute/relocate: Chicago, IL 60622: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required) License/Certification: Massage Therapy License (Required) Work Location: In person
