Project Manager - Commercial Glazing

If you’re looking to join a team that values mutual growth and long-term success, we’d love to connect.POSITION OVERVIEWRead and interpret blueprints, specifications, structural drawings, shop drawings, installation requirements, and architectural intentConduct take-offs, prepares accurate cost estimates, project schedules and material procurement processing for commercial windows, doors, storefronts, curtain walls, and other glass and aluminum solutionsPerform formal project management activities, including simultaneous project oversightOrder, track, and coordinate materials pertaining to each project to successful conclusionManage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniquesCollaborate with Operations Manager and President in negotiating most favorable terms for DGS with customers and vendorsEnsure up to date, complete and accurate records, budgets, schedules, and progress reportsParticipates in quality control inspections and process improvementsEstablishes and nurtures relationships with industry professionals, manufacturers, general contractors, subcontractors, and public agencies in an ultimate effort to promote company revenue growthStay informed of most current product, systems knowledge, and industry practices to improve efficiencies and skillsSKILLSProficient at understanding and translating construction plans, drawings, and specificationsExperience with Microsoft Office as well as computer take off and estimating programsAptitude organizational skills including keen attention to detail to maintain our service qualityExcellent client-facing, internal communication, negotiation, creative problem solving, and relationship skillsLeadership skills, time management, math, budgeting, and analytical skillsExcellent writing, grammar, and presentation skillsEffective ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks and manage resources efficientlyProfessional, courteous, and effective disposition for nurturing business development, customer, supplier, team, and other business relationshipsAutoCAD/GDS knowledge preferredEDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONSMinimum Bachelor’s DegreePMP / PRINCE II certification is a plusValid Driver’s LicenseEXPERIENCE4 Years’ Experience MinimumBENEFITSHealth, Dental, and Vision Insurance401(k) with MatchingESTA, Holidays, and VacationsCompany Supplied ToolsPaid Travel ExpensesSCHEDULEStandard Hours are M-F 7:00a.m. – 3:30p.m.40 Hours/WeekCOMPANY OVERVIEWDynamic Glazing Systems, Inc. is a Detroit-based, fast-growing commercial glazing subcontractor that intends maintain its continuous stride towards a larger success than the previous term.
