This is a great opportunity to grow with a small company where your work and professional development will be noticed and rewarded.The Controls Technician will install, troubleshoot, program, and service building automation and HVAC control systems for various facilities throughout greater Louisville and Lexington, KY. The ideal candidate has hands-on HVAC and/or electrical experience and a strong understanding of controls, low-voltage wiring, and system troubleshooting.ResponsibilitiesInstall and terminate low-voltage wiring for HVAC control systemsMount and wire controllers, sensors, actuators, and panelsTroubleshoot and diagnose HVAC and building automation systemsAssist with controller programming and system commissioningWork with project managers and customers to ensure successful project completionProvide service and support for existing BAS systemsMaintain accurate documentation and communicate clearly with clientsQualifications2+ years of experience in HVAC, controls, or building automation preferredStrong understanding of HVAC systems (RTUs, VAVs, boilers, chillers, etc.)Experience with low-voltage wiring and electrical troubleshootingFamiliarity with BAS platforms (Niagara, Distech, Johnson Controls, Siemens, etc.) is a plusAbility to read wiring diagrams and mechanical plansValid driver’s license and clean driving recordSelf-motivated with strong problem-solving skillsWhat We OfferPay range $75K-$115K based on experience, plus bonus and/or profit sharingCompany vehicleThree weeks PTOPaid holidaysMedical, Dental, Vision401K with company matchOngoing training and growth opportunitiesSupportive, team-oriented work environmentOpportunity to grow into senior technician and management.
