About the Role As a Precision CNC Programmer, you will be the driving force behind the creation of complex, high-tolerance components for advanced industries. You will leverage your technical expertise to transform engineering concepts into efficient manufacturing processes, ensuring that every part meets rigorous quality standards. Responsibilities Develop and optimize sophisticated CAM programs for multi-axis CNC mills and lathes to maximize production efficiency. Translate complex engineering drawings and 3D models into actionable machining strategies, including tool selection and workholding. Drive continuous improvement by refining cycle times and machining processes to enhance overall shop productivity. Provide expert technical guidance to machine operators, assisting with first-piece prove-outs and complex troubleshooting. Maintain comprehensive setup documentation and digital records to ensure consistent, repeatable manufacturing results. Apply advanced GD&T principles to verify that all produced components strictly adhere to customer specifications. Required Skills Proven experience programming CNC equipment in a precision manufacturing environment. Advanced proficiency with Mastercam or similar industry-standard CAM software. Strong working knowledge of 3-, 4-, and 5-axis CNC mill and lathe operations. Expertise in reading and interpreting complex engineering blueprints and 3D CAD models. Solid understanding of GD&T and precision measurement tools like micrometers and calipers. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills to resolve machining or tooling challenges. Preferred Skills Experience working within aerospace, defense, or AS9100-certified manufacturing environments. Proficiency with SolidWorks for CAD data manipulation and verification. Background in manual machining or vocational training in manufacturing technology. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple production priorities in a fast-paced setting.
