Operations Manager

As an Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing warehousing, inventory management, order fulfillment, and shipping operations to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.Key ResponsibilitiesOperations Oversight: Managing day-to-day warehouse activities, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, cycle counting, and shipping.Inventory Control: Monitoring stock levels across channels using advanced WMS for accuracy, reducing stockouts and excessive inventory carrying costs.Partner Management: Serving as the primary point of contact for partners, providing visibility into order status and inventory accuracy.Performance Metrics: Analyzing KPIs to improve logistics processes and drive efficiency.Compliance and Safety: Ensuring the facility meets all safety regulations and federal and state compliance standards.Core Competencies & ToolsTechnology: Proficient in WMS, barcode scanning, and warehouse technology maintenance.Logistics Expertise: Knowledge of inventory management, carrier optimization, and supply chain operations.Team Leadership: Training and managing warehouse personnel.Required QualificationsBachelor’s degree in business administration or a similar field5+ years’ experience in operations managementAMCON DISTRIBUTING COMPANY IS AN EQUAL EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER.
