We are a proud member of the Pacific Coast Building Products Family of Companies.Salary Range $25 - $26 hr./DOE and QualificationsPOSITION SUMMARY: Under the direct supervision of the Raw Material Supervisor, this position supports the Block, Paver, and Sack Plants in all areas of raw materials; and is responsible for supporting and demonstrating the Core Values of Integrity, Safety, Respect, Customer Focus, Quality, Innovation and Financial Success. Performs other related duties as assigned.SUPERVISION RECEIVED: GeneralESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Drives trucks in a safe manner to specified locations to pick up aggregate and deliver it to the Block and Dry Mix Plants.Unloads aggregate at plant in area specified by Raw Material or Delivery Supervisor.Maintains good communication with shift supervisors as to changing aggregate demand.Loads material from the waste pile and delivers to appropriate recycling vendor.Operates the Front-End Loader to push up and maintain stockpiles and to load waste.Completes daily delivery logbooks.Performs daily inspections checklists on truck and trailer as required by DOT.Performs daily inspections checklists on Front-End Loader and performs greasing of pivot points on prescribed schedule.Use Company, daily checklists for any other equipment operated including forklifts.After checking vehicles, reports any maintenance or safety issues immediately to your supervisor.Forklift operation is requiredRegularly meets with supervisorMaintains work area clean and clutter free per company standardsAll other duties and responsibilities assigned from time to time by the company or its designated representativesAbides by all safety rules set forth by the company and governmental regulatory agencies; and ensures that hazardous conditions are reported and corrected.Predictable, and Regular attendance is required.QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.High School diploma or equivalentTwo-year experience driving a dump truck with dump trailer, both full and empty.On-the-job training experience is required to be able to perform dutiesForklift operational experience is beneficial.Requires basic reading and math skills.Ability to follow oral and written instructions.Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a professional manner in dealing with employees and the public.Ability to act professionally and remain calm in high stress situations.Operation of mobile electronic equipment may be required.Must have a valid Class A driver's license and a good driving record. Class A with Triples and Tanker endorsements required.Predictable, and Regular attendance is required.PHYSICAL DEMANDS The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.Frequently required to use hands to finger, handle or feel; Reach with hands and arms; Talk and listen; Stand, walk, and sit.Occasionally climbing or balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling may be required.Occasionally required to bend at the waist.Lifting up-to 100 pounds.WORK ENVIRONMENT The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.Plant environment with moderate to loud noise, moving and vibrating machinery, dusty, dirty, fumes and/or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, hot and cold (non-weather) conditions. Outdoor weather conditions.Working areas may include elevated working platforms.Operating heavy equipment on private and public roadways.Climb on and off equipment frequently.Wear mandatory and/or other appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
