Data Readiness & Validation Consultant
Job Summary Our client a leading Healthcare & Life Sciences provider is seeking a Data Readiness & Validation Consultant to join their team! This position is located Hybrid in St. Louis, Missouri. Core Responsibilities Evaluate the current-state data environment to assess readiness, quality, and structural integrity across multiple data domainsIdentify gaps, risks, inefficiencies, and opportunities related to data validation, ingestion, governance alignment, and usabilityDevelop a practical, future-state strategy to improve data readiness and quality across systems and business processesPartner with business stakeholders to document workflows, requirements, and current pain points that may exist in manual or disconnected processesHelp translate informal or undocumented processes into clear frameworks, visuals, and implementation plans that can be communicated to leadershipFacilitate cross-functional meetings, drive alignment, and influence stakeholders toward a common approach to data quality and operational readinessCollaborate with broader data governance efforts to ensure alignment between governance, validation, and readiness prioritiesHelp define sustainable processes to support future analytics, automation, and AI-driven use casesSupport organizational change management by helping teams adopt new ways of thinking about data quality and ownershipRequired Skills/Experience (Must-Haves)Experience evaluating and improving enterprise data environments, particularly around data quality, validation, and readinessStrong understanding of data lifecycle management, including ingestion, transformation, and downstream usabilityExperience identifying process gaps and developing practical, business-oriented strategies for improvementAbility to work across both business and technical teams to drive alignment and executionStrong facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skillsExperience organizing ambiguity and turning ideas into structured plans and roadmapsProven ability to lead meetings, influence decisions, and manage cross-functional initiativePreferred Skills/Experience (Nice-to-Haves) Exposure to ERP transformation programs or large-scale enterprise system migrationsFamiliarity with ETL / ELT processes and data movement conceptsExperience with Google Query environments, Databricks, or similar modern data platformsBackground in data governance, master data, or data management initiativesUnderstanding of how enterprise data readiness impacts AI and advanced analytics capabilitiesExperience working in environments where data exists across both structured systems and manual toolsKey Competencies & Behaviors Strategic but practicalOrganized and process-orientedStrong communicator and storytellerComfortable driving meetings and alignmentChange agent mindsetAble to bridge business and technical conversationsWork Environment Location: St. Louis, MissouriHybridCompensation & Benefits Pay Range: The approximate pay range for this position is between $180,000 and $200,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location.
