The actual posting represents a position at one of our clients.Job SummaryOur client is seeking a Prior Authorization responsible for liaising with prescriber offices, utilizing technology for patient care, and working with insurance plans to handle prior authorizations for specialty medications.Key ResponsibilitiesCommunicate with prescriber offices on the various stages of prior authorization for specialty medications through phone, chat, or email.Utilize evolving technology to offer efficient patient care.Collaborate with insurance plans for benefit verification and authorization requirements.Resolve issues with provider support through complex problem-solving skills.QualificationsPrior Authorization experience (pharmacy PA experience is a plus).SkillsExperience submitting pharmacy prior authorizations or other types of authorizations.Proficient in problem-solving and effective communication.Additional Requirements100% in person/onsite work required.BenefitsPaid Sick Leave (Medix provides paid sick leave according to state and local sick leave ordinances).Health Benefits / Dental / Vision (Medix offers 6 different health plans: 3 Major Medical Plans, 2 Fixed Indemnity Plans (Standard and Preferred), and 1 Minimum Essential Coverage (MEC) Plan.
