For more information, visit www.jobs.premisehealth.com.As a Full Time Associate Medical Director,you'll provide care to client employees and their dependents ages 2 and older at theCummins LiveWell Centerlocated in Columbus, IN.*Sign On Bonus available*The scheduled hours are 4 10 hour days per week, 7AM-6PM Monday-Thursday, 8AM-7PM Friday. One Saturday rotation 8AM-12PM every 6 weeks.Highlights of this role:A model that integrates lifestyle and obesity medicine into both acute and long term patient careA collaborative environment with onsite pharmacy, dermatology and gynecologyA teaching kitchen that integrates culinary medicine into the practice.Team-based care that lets you practiceand livewell.A practice model that respects your time and expertiseLocated in Columbus, IN, a city celebrated for its striking architecture, vibrant multicultural events and family friendly atmosphere.Essential Functions:Provides episodic, preventive, and acute health care to patients.May provide occupational health services (i.e., post-offer physicals, occupational surveillance exams, medical monitoring, return to work exams and Workers Compensation medical guidance) in some health centersConducts histories and physical examinations and prescribes medications and/or medical treatments based on best practice standardsDevelops treatment plans in collaboration with patients; educates and advises on medical issues as neededProvides referrals both internally and externally to appropriate medical resource or specialtyEvaluates the effectiveness of medical care and monitors progress of patientsParticipates in the development of annual health center goals and objectivesMaintains medical records using (In some health centers it may be using Electronic Medical Record software)May formulate and administer health programs as neededRequired Qualifications:Graduate of an accredited medical schoolAt least three years of post-residency clinical experienceExperience in a primary care, urgent care or emergency room setting. (Occupational healthcare experience may apply in some clinics).Licensed to practice medicine in the state within which the site is locatedMust be Board Certified in Occupational Medicine, Internal Medicine, Family Practice, Primary Care or Emergency Medicine by the AOA or ABMS or Board Eligible in aforementioned practice areas. If Board Eligible, must take certification exam with the AOA or ABMS within twelve months of date of hireMust have current state and federal DEA certificationCurrent Certification in AHA or ARC Basic Life Support for health care providers is required, Advanced Cardiac Life Support may also be required based on contract scope of servicesMedical Review Officer (MRO) Certification may be required for some positionsKnowledge of Internet software, Spreadsheet and Word ProcessingPreferred Qualifications:Knowledge and experience with Electronic Medical Records.Knowledge of workplace health and safety concepts and OSHA regulations.Work-life balance is at the foundation of how decisions are made and where Premise is headed.
