Per Diem Pharmacy Technician in Fairport, NY (Hiring Immediately)

This per diem opportunity is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to provide 2-week coverage in Fairport, NY, from March 17, 2026, through April 3, 2026. The role is primarily Monday through Friday on the 1st shift, with scheduled hours from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, though hours may extend to 7:00 pm as needed.Key Responsibilities: Accurately enter patient information and prescription orders into the pharmacy system. Assist the pharmacist in the dispensing and verification of prescription medications. Manage and replenish over-the-counter (OTC) inventory to maintain adequate stock levels. Engage with customers professionally to address concerns and provide exceptional service. Coordinate with third-party prescription plans to resolve adjudication issues and ensure smooth prescription processing. Qualifications: Minimum of 1 year of recent experience as a pharmacy technician. Previous experience in retail pharmacy or within a 340B pharmacy program is preferred. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. Excellent communication abilities to interact effectively with customers and healthcare professionals.
