Payroll & Benefits Administrator
MCP TN is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Payroll and Benefits Administrator with 4+ years of experience. This role is responsible for processing payroll accurately and on time while also administering the day-to-day employee benefits programs. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in payroll procedures, benefit coordination, and HR compliance. ResponsibilitiesPreparation and processing of weekly payroll for all hourly and salaried employees including timecard validation, wage calculation, and deductions. Address employee questions regarding pay, taxes, and deductions. Administer all 401K changes, child support/garnishments orders, while maintaining compliance with all applicable state and federal laws. Preparation and processing of quarterly and annual bonuses and monitor the year-end process. Maintain accurate payroll records and ensure compliance with federal and state laws. Coordinate open enrollment and provide education to employees on benefit offerings. Process benefit enrollments, terminations, and changes in the HRIS. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of ACA, HIPAA, and COBRA compliance. Manage all leaves processes. Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes. Respond to and resolve payroll and benefits-related inquiries and issues in a timely, professional manner. Support audits as needed. Reconcile Insurance invoices with employee deductions to ensure accurate billing. Other duties as assigned. QualificationsHigh school diploma plus 4+ years’ experience in payroll processing and benefit administration. Must have working knowledge of HRIS payroll systems. Multi state experience is a plus. Day to day administration of benefits.
