Design Engineer - SolidWorks & AutoCAD

The ideal candidate will be responsible for executing and leading the full design process from ideation to production. You will draw new designs and update our current designs. During the creation process, you will ensure that our designs meeting all necessary design responsibilities.ResponsibilitiesDetermine best design to meet customers requirementsPrepare 2D and 3D vehicle and part layoutsComplete detail drawings for new or improved productsDesign module on new platforms as requiredComplete bid drawings for customers and dealersEnsure our designs meet manufacturing, technical and customer ResponsibilitiesEnsure that all design projects are completed within budget and timeAttend trade shows and seminars as neededUpdate vehicle standards as neededInvolvement in RDT and other business meetingsManage and coordinate special engineering projects as assignedQualificationsAssociates Degree or equivalent required, Bachelors degree in Mechanical preferredFive (5) to six (6) years of design / 3D modeling experience, SolidWorks with SolidWorks PDM preferredCAD experienceStrong organizational and communication skillsSound knowledge of engineering theory and design criteriaRequiredPreferredJob IndustriesOther
