Electrical Pneumatic Technician

The role of an Electrical/Pneumatic Assembly Technician is to assembly mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems for tooling and equipment builds. ▪ Assemble mechanical components as needed to support the installation of electrical and pneumatic systems for new tooling and equipment builds ▪ Assemble electrical and pneumatic panels for new tooling and equipment builds- Reading of electrical and pneumatic blueprints is required. ▪ Troubleshoot issues with new and rebuilt equipment for electrical and pneumatic issues. ▪ Testing and documenting quality checks for assembled tooling and equipment for proper function and matching to prints ▪ Assist mechanical assembly team with parts that might need to be refurbished during used system builds. ▪ Assist with facilitate equipment moves on the shop floor (Installation of electrical in and out of buss rail and reinstall of wiring and pneumatic into the machinery ▪ Give advice on technical specifications of new equipment and alterations on existing equipment and facilities, making sure manufacturing, maintainability and Health, Safety & Environmental requirements are met ▪ Coordiante with engineering and purchasing about general supplies that are needed to support new assembly builds and for spare parts ▪ Assemble mechanical tooling and equipment as needed during times when panel building is in lower demand. Qualifications: ▪ Technical diploma, preferably with a specialization in electrical/pneumatic system maintenance ▪ Mechanical, Electrical, and pneumatic print reading is required ▪ At least 3 years of maintenance/engineering experience within a fast-paced manufacturing environment ▪ Proven ability to undertake tasks of substantial variety or complexity which require an extensive knowledge of fabrication/processing techniques, tools, materials, machines, and equipment ▪ Electro-mechanics and automation skills ▪ Working knowledge of Quality system and Health, Safety and Environment skills ▪ Strong technical problem-solving skills ▪ Strong teamwork, interpersonal and communication skills ▪ Ability to work in a matrix organization ▪ English required Job Type: Full-time Work Location: In person
