The clinician treats emergent unassigned OB/GYN patients requiring consultation, admission, or emergent GYN surgery, while providing coverage for unassigned obstetric patients presenting to the main emergency room or labor and delivery. Responsibilities include conducting inpatient consults, postpartum and GYN rounds, post-surgical follow-up, and supporting local private OB/GYN physicians by managing their inpatients during coverage periods.
