This role involves independently performing diagnostic imaging procedures with precision, supporting both Radiology and Urgent Care areas. Flexibility, technical proficiency, and a patient-focused mindset are essential.Conduct various radiologic procedures with independent judgment and accuracyOperate, troubleshoot, and maintain CR, DR, PACS, HIS, and RIS systemsSupport urgent care operations: take vital signs, assist with point-of-care testing (e.g., EKG, rapid strep, flu), draw blood, and assist providersRegister patients, manage supplies, and assist with clinical equipment (e.g., crutches, ace wraps)Maintain infection control practices and comply with OSHA and hospital safety protocolsHandle confidential patient information appropriatelyAttend and complete all mandatory training including infection control and body substance isolationGraduate of an AMA-accredited Radiologic Technology programLicensed Radiologic Technologist in Massachusetts (MALIC)ARRT(R) certification within one year of hireValid CPR certificationAbility to work independently in a demanding environmentMust be available to work 7:00 AM to 11:30 PM on Saturdays and SundaysNestled in the scenic Berkshires, Pittsfield offers easy access to year-round outdoor activities like hiking, skiing, and kayaking.
