Azure DevOps Architect (Healthcare)Location: RemoteFulltimeJob SummaryThe DevOps Architect is responsible for defining, designing, and implementing the DevOps strategy and architecture across the organization. This individual plays a pivotal role in aligning development, operations, security, and quality assurance teams with best practices in automation, scalability, and continuous delivery. The DevOps Architect will lead the effort in transforming the organization’s deployment pipelines and infrastructure to support fast, safe, and reliable delivery of applications and services.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and implement the overarching DevOps strategy and architecture.Partner with stakeholders across development, QA, security, and operations teams to streamline end-to-end workflows.Lead automation efforts in code builds, testing, and deployments.Drive system reliability, availability, and performance improvements.Collaborate with development teams to refine operability and system scalability.Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Bicep, Terraform, and Ansible.Promote DevOps principles and agile practices across engineering teams.Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues and performance bottlenecks.Produce architecture and implementation documentation for cross-team visibility.Contribute to AI/ML infrastructure deployment for operational enhancements.Required Skills & Experience4+ years of hands-on DevOps experience.2+ years in software engineering or server management.Strong scripting capabilities in PowerShell and Python.Proven expertise in CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins.Cloud platform experience, especially Microsoft Azure.Hands-on with containerization and orchestration tools: Docker, Kubernetes.Deep knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices and tools (Bicep, Terraform).Experience with configuration management and test-driven development.Familiarity with both Windows and Linux server environments.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Experience with incident and release management.Understanding of agile development methodologies and DevOps best practices.Ability to lead DevOps culture change initiatives.Preferred QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).Certifications in Azure, GitHub, or other DevOps technologies.Experience integrating AI and machine learning solutions into infrastructure environments.Prior experience in a contract-to-hire setting demonstrating adaptability.Soft SkillsAgile mindset: relentless improvement, iterative delivery, scalable solutions.Strong collaboration and stakeholder engagement.Ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.High adaptability and eagerness to learn new technologies.
