The Machinist will be responsible for operating various machine tools to manufacture and repair mechanical instruments and equipment. Day-to-day tasks include setting up and operating CNC machines, lathes, mills, grinders, cutting and fitting the materials, reading blueprints, and ensuring accuracy and precision in the manufacturing process. The Machinist will also be involved in routine maintenance of machinery and troubleshooting any issues that arise.QualificationsExperience with CNC machines, lathes, mills, and grindersAbility to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawingsSkills in machining, cutting, and fitting materialsKnowledge of routine maintenance and troubleshooting of machineryStrong attention to detail and precisionAbility to work independently and as part of a teamGood communication skillsExperience in a manufacturing environment is a plusRelevant certification or technical training is preferredHigh school diploma required2 year technical degree required
