UI Developer - Javascript/React

Senior Software Engineer Apex Systems, the nation's second largest IT staffing firm, has an immediate opportunity for a Senior Software Engineer to support one of our top clients in Reston, Virginia. In the Retail Services group you will work as part of a small team to design, build, and field some of the world's highest-volume retail systems.We are integrating applications that blur the lines between online, mobile, and in-store experiences Our teams are agile and cloud-native. We have a startup culture and are looking to grow our team with software engineers who take pride in their craft and are ready to grow in a fast-paced team oriented environment.Start Date: ASAPContract Length: 3-month contract to hireLocation: Remote (ideally in one of the following locations, Reston VA, Bentonville AR, Dallas TX, Hoboken NJ, Seattle WA, Sunnyvale CA)Principal Duties and Responsibilities:Participate in the design, implementation, and testing of distributed systems in an agile environmentComplete research activities for new features and enhancementsContribute to design and code reviewsHelp to monitor and improve production systemsEngage in our engineering culture to consistently deliver value to our customers and businessPreferred Qualifications:4-5 years of Front end development2-3 years of experience with JavaScript and Front-end JavaScript frameworks such as ReactHTML, CSS, XML, JSON experience would be a plus4 years of experience developing web services or distributed, messaging and event-based systems3 years of experience in agile delivery, especially Scrum, Kanban or Scrumban as well as DevOps.
