We want to set the standard for tomorrow, with a goal of serving excellence in everything we do.As a Sr. Automation Engineer, you will design and program automated systems using Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC's), motion controllers, servo motors, stepper motors, and other industrial automation hardware. Your expertise will be instrumental in designing efficient and reliable automated kitchen solutions.RequirementsResponsibilities:Design, develop, and implement control systems, including sequence control, motion control, servos\steppers, and HMIsImplement and optimize motion control algorithms for various industrial automation hardwareTroubleshoot and optimize motion control systems, addressing issues with vibration, resonance, precision and efficiencyIntegrate and interface with various sensors including infrared, ultrasonic, and LiDARDefine automation system architecture, including flow diagrams, state machines, and software architectureCollaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements and specificationsTroubleshoot and resolve issues related to embedded systems, motion control hardware and sensor integrationCreate and manage design documentation, including troubleshooting and operation manualsContribute to product definition and design in partnership with Product Management, Operations, Sales, R&D, and partner engineering teamsParticipate in the generation and review of intellectual propertyStay updated with latest trends in PLC, embedded systems, motion control and sensor technologiesTravel to support clients and installations (up to 25%)QualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering or a related fieldAt least 5 years’ experience in designing and programming automation systems using robots, PLCs, motion controllers, and other industrial automation hardwareProficiency in programming languages commonly used in automation, such as C, structured text, or function block diagramsHands-on experience with PLCs, motion controllers, servos, steppers and other motor types.Experience in servo tuning, torque feedback analysis, and coordinated motion controlStrong understanding of industrial control systems, automation protocols (e.g., CAN bus, Modbus), and communication networksSolid knowledge of electrical and electronic components used in automation systems.Experience in system integration and troubleshooting of automation systems, including hardware and software componentsProven track record of delivering automation projects on time and within budgetStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with a meticulous attention to detailExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teamsIf you are a results-oriented professional with a passion for automation and a proven ability to architect and program sophisticated automated systems, we invite you to apply for the position of Senior Automation Engineer.
