You hold the holistic view of how rights, reporting, documentation, and licensor relationships move through the business, and you use that understanding to keep the function running cleanly, anticipate problems before they surface, and make sound calls in ambiguous situations. You own the systems and the operating logic behind them.What You'll OwnOwnership & JudgmentServe as the internal authority on licensed rights Snap Creative holds as we grow our business This requires communicating with multiple functional teams including Product Development, Sales, Manufacturing Operations and Executive team Manage licensor relationship as the first point of contact for licensing business updates Act as the connective decision-maker across studios, factory, operations, and marketing, determining how to prioritize resources for marketing activations Prioritize workload independently across competing licensor deliverables Evaluate potential opportunities by researching film titles and partnering with Sales Team to gauge client interest Rights & Royalty TrackingOwn the internal royalty and licensing reference, organized by account, synthesizing the latest information from the dashboards and resources different teams maintain (distributor, mid-tier theater accounts, and major-account sales dashboards)Maintain license agreement details and renewal timelines, support VP of Client Relations with negotiating renewal and new license agreementsReporting & Studio / Sales UpdatesCompile, reconcile, and update sales figures, pulling from team dashboards and submitted resources across functions, surfacing what doesn't add upProduce recurring studio and licensor reports, including the weekly in-theater marketing sales report and studio-specific report formatsConsolidate marketing activation summaries once programs are liveProduct Deck ManagementOwn the master product deck and produce tailored, licensor-specific versions on a recurring basisChina / Asia Export DocumentationOwn the required licensor documentation process for exporting/importing from Asia/China end to endPrepare and submit export-documentation requests, coordinate with the VP of Client Relations and operations, resolve each licensor and factory inquiry, and obtain factory confirmation Marketing & Sample CoordinationCoordinate with studios to route product samples and marketing assets to the right place at the right timeFulfill sample requests in partnership with the marketing and operations team while ensuring we prioritize marketing opportunitiesWhat You Bring5+ years in licensing, entertainment, or consumer products, including demonstrated ownership of a function, workflow, or set of accounts A holistic, business-level understanding of how a licensing or operations function fits togetherSound, independent judgment in ambiguous situationsAdvanced Excel and data fluency; comfort synthesizing and reconciling across multiple dashboards and sources, and spotting what doesn't add upStrong PowerPoint / deck-building skillsClear, professional written communication for internal stakeholders and external licensor and factory correspondence Curiosity, diligence, and a bias toward resolving open questions before they escalatePreferredDirect studio and/or licensee experienceFamiliarity with international licensing rights, royalty reporting, and/or export/customs documentation Background in toys, entertainment, or licensed consumer productsExperience improving or modernizing manual, spreadsheet-based workflows Utilizing Netsuite to manage data
