We’re eager to work with humble team players and pragmatic next-level thinkers to innovate on Home Chef’s offerings.This role follows a 3rd shift schedule, working from 10:00 PM - 6:30 AM, with designated days off on Saturday and Sunday.The RTH Sanitation Associate is responsible for all activities involved in maintaining the cleanliness and food safe environment in the kitchen and assembly areas. The Sanitation Associate is expected to wear proper Personal Protective Equipment at all times, maintain tools and equipment in a clean, organized and safe manner at all times, and follow all health and safety regulations.Detailed ResponsibilitiesRTH CleaningEmpty all trash cans and replace liners, clean and sanitize receptacles on a daily basis Clean floors by sweeping, mopping, and scrubbing them with floor scrubber Clean and wipe down racksClean metal tables and sanitized on a daily basisRe-stock vinyl gloves and PPE in all sizesClean and sanitize hand wash sinks and three department sinksClean, empty and sanitize all garbage gondolas on a daily basis Mix water and cleaning chemicals in containers, mop buckets to prepare cleaning solutions according to specificationsCheck for leaks, drips, and condensationClean all food manufacturing machinery according to SOP’sRTH Equipment Cleaning (Blast Chillers, Tilt Skillets, Ovens, MAP Machines, Sanitunnel)Follow SSPO cleaning procedures with individual equipment cleansUse proper PPE while performing cleaning taskClean floors using a dry cleaning methodRemove any build up or ice accumulation on the floors, walls, and cooling unitsCheck for leaks, drips, and condensationFollow Lock Out Tag Out procedures according to policy when applicable Dish RoomEmpty all trash cans and replace liners, clean and sanitize receptacles on a daily basis Clean floors by sweeping, mopping, and scrubbing them with floor scrubber Clean and wipe down racksClean, wash and sanitize all production utensils, bus tubs, sheet pans and blue dollies, etcClean metal tables and sanitize on a daily basisRe-stock chemicals Clean and sanitize three department sinksTest sanitizer with Hydrion test strips to test PPM sanitation solutionClean Tub Washer according to SOPGMP Frock Room Clean floors by sweeping, mopping, and scrubbing them with floor scrubberEmpty all trash cans and replace liners, clean and sanitize receptacles on a daily basis Re-stock vinyl gloves in all sizes and PPE accordingly Clean and sanitize hand wash sinks and three department sinksClean and maintain all walls and areasGeneral ResponsibilitiesFollow the facility GMPs and help enforce them throughout the facilitySupport the efforts of the company to maintain our food safety system (SQF) and quality programsAttitude and AttendanceArrives to work at scheduled time and follows time off request procedureCommunicates with co-workers in a professional mannerTreats co-workers with respect at all timesEscalates attitude issues among janitors to FSQA ManagerUses teamwork with working with production throughout the day Demonstrates ownership of tasks and job responsibilities on a consistent basis.This position requires 0% travel.QualificationsThe requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability needed for this role. While compensation is within the provided range, it is not typical for offers to be made at the upper end.
