Cosmetics Compliance / Data Reporting SME
Job Title: Subject Matter Expert (Cosmetics Manufacturing) Location: Silver Spring, MD Type: Contract To Hire Compensation: $45.00 - $50.00 per hour Contractor Work Model: Onsite – onsite Hours: 40.0 ResponsibilitiesSupport FDA cosmetic compliance functions by utilizing FDA systems and program data to evaluate inventory, conduct research, prepare reports, and support surveillance planning.Assist with the development and clearance of assignment memos and related compliance documentation.Use FDA systems and internal data sources to research, organize, and report cosmetic compliance information.Evaluate inventory, facility, product listing, surveillance, or compliance data to identify trends, gaps, and follow-up items.Collate and summarize data to support surveillance activity planning, work prioritization, and compliance decisions.Coordinate the development, review, and clearance of assignment memos and compliance documentation.Track deadlines, documentation status, action items, and approvals to facilitate smooth program operations.Collaborate with compliance, scientific, analyst, and program teams to gather information and ensure records are accurate and complete. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in public health, life sciences, chemistry, regulatory affairs, data analytics, business, or related field4–6 years of experience supporting regulatory compliance, data reporting, program operations, quality assurance, public health, or government program supportExperience working with databases, internal systems, spreadsheets, dashboards, or reporting toolsStrong research, data organization, documentation, and written communication skillsExperience preparing or coordinating reports, assignment memos, compliance records, briefing materials, or program documentationProficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPointSystem One, and its subsidiaries including Joulé and Mountain Ltd., are leaders in delivering outsourced services and workforce solutions across North America.
