This document serves both as an operational guide and as a compliance reference for auditors and HR purposes.*Position Summary*The Jolly Roger Host is responsible for greeting, seating, and serving guests in a welcoming and professional manner while providing exceptional service at The Jolly Roger. This role combines guest relations, bartending, and serving duties to ensure every patron enjoys a quality dining and beverage experience. The position requires a friendly, detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment.*Essential Duties and Responsibilities*Greet, seat, and serve guests promptly and courteouslyTake food and beverage orders accurately and enter them into the POS systemPrepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to company standardsAnswer guest questions regarding menu selections, ingredients, and specialsCommunicate dietary needs, allergies, and special requests to the kitchenCheck in with guests to ensure satisfaction with food and beveragesMaintain cleanliness of tables, bar areas, and service stations throughout the shiftComplete opening and closing duties, including restocking items and organizing suppliesPresent accurate guest checks, process payments, and maintain cash handling accuracyFollow all company, health, and safety policies and proceduresReport accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions immediately to managementMaintain proper uniform and professional appearance at all timesSupport teammates to achieve service goals and uphold a positive work environmentLift, carry, and move objects weighing up to 50 lbs. and perform physical duties safelyPerform other duties as assigned by management*Qualifications**Education:** High school diploma or equivalent preferred*Experience:** Prior restaurant, bar, or hospitality service experience preferred*Licenses/Certifications:** Responsible Vendor or alcohol service certification (preferred)*Skills:*Strong interpersonal and customer service abilitiesExcellent communication and teamwork skillsAbility to multitask efficiently in a high-volume settingProficiency in POS and cash handling systemsPhysical ability to stand, walk, lift, and carry items for extended periodsMust pass required drug screening, background check, and E-Verify*Compensation and Benefits**Pay:** From $11.00 per hour plus tips*Benefits:*401(k) plan with employer matchHealth, dental, vision, and life insurancePaid time offEmployee discountsFlexible scheduling in accordance with company policy*Schedule:*8-hour shiftsDay and evening availability requiredWeekends and holidays requiredJob Types: Part-time, SeasonalPay: $11.00 per hourBenefits:401(k) matchingDental insuranceEmployee discountHealth insurancePaid time offVision insuranceWork Location: In person
