As a Systems Integration and Test Engineer onthe Space Based Infrared System program youWill Work on software integration projects that willvary from satellite command and controlsoftware, to satellite payload sensormanagement software, to mission specificsoftware, to ground hardware & network controlsoftware Integrate into a small, high-performing team Review and evaluate test requirements toensure completeness of test program Independently author formal test procedures,standard operating procedures, and data reportsPlan, implement, test, document, and maintainsolutions for the integration and testingcomponents, elements, subsystems, andsystems Establish functional and technical specificationsand standards, solves hardware/softwareinterface problems, defines input/outputparameters, and ensures integration of the entiresystem or subsystem Review, evaluate, and derive requirements fortestability, develop and direct preparation andexecution of comprehensive test plans,procedures and schedules for complete systemsand/or subsystems Perform analysis of test results and preparescomprehensive subsystem and/or system levelevaluation reports which verify and validatesystem performance Write discrepancy reports and performsintegration regression testing to verify/validateincorporated fixes to software, components,subsystems, and systems Relentlessly pursue continuous improvement,emphasize outcomes over metrics, and be agood teammate Be able to interpret complex systemRequirementsDesired skills Experience supporting the SBIRS program andcollaborating effectively with its customer community Extensive experience authoring and defending white papers and other technical documentation Demonstrated success in requirements-driven design and system development Proven leadership skills across teams and project scales 6+ years of experience in satellite, spacecraft, and ground system industries Experience in software and test automation, including containerization, CI/CD, andInfrastructure as Code (IaC)Other Important InformationBy applying to this job, you are expressing interest in this position and could be considered for other career opportunities where similar skills and requirements have been identified as a match.
