Multi-Craft Maintenance TechnicianThe Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician plays a critical role in keeping a high-volume manufacturing facility running safely and efficiently. Working you will perform both preventive and reactive maintenance on a wide range of industrial machinery and equipment, including saws, cutters, sanders, dust collectors, molders, CNC machines, conveyors, motors, pumps, bearings, hydraulics, pneumatics, pneumatic nailers, and air compressors. You will use your mechanical and electrical expertise to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair complex systems up to 480V 3-phase while upholding strict safety standards and contributing to a collaborative, fast-paced team environment.ResponsibilitiesPerform preventive and reactive maintenance on a wide variety of industrial equipment, including saws, cutters, sanders, dust collectors, molders, CNC machines, conveyors, motors, pumps, bearings, hydraulics, pneumatics, pneumatic nailers, and air compressors.Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical systems, including hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, and pumps, to minimize downtime and maintain optimal production efficiency.Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical systems up to 480V 3-phase using lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures, voltmeters, and electrical schematics.Perform multi-craft maintenance tasks that integrate both mechanical and electrical skills to resolve complex equipment issues.Follow and promote all safety standards and best practices while working on live equipment and in production areas.Use technical documentation, schematics, and manuals to identify root causes and implement effective corrective actions.Collaborate closely with other maintenance team members and production staff to prioritize work orders and support continuous operations.Document maintenance activities, repairs, and parts usage accurately to support reliability and preventive maintenance programs.Support the training and development of line technicians and other team members by sharing knowledge and best practices when needed.Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance equipment reliability and maintenance processes.This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Goshen, IN.The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $35.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
