This role exists to make sure our people practices are not abstract or overengineered - but clear, fair, and genuinely helpful in the context of busy, regulated clinical environments.What You'll Deliver in the First 6-12 MonthsBe truly embedded with clinic teamsBe the day-to-day People partner for clinic leaders and medical stakeholdersSpend time in clinics to understand the real workflow-not just what's on paperMaintain a hands-on, in-clinic presence and travel as needed to support teamsBuild trust by showing up consistently, listening carefully, and following throughBring clarity where it matters mostHelp leaders turn expectations into everyday practice: what good looks like, how it's measured, and how people growKeep performance, feedback, and development conversations clear, supported, and humanReduce friction in People processes so clinics can stay focused on great careSupport leaders to lead wellCoach leaders through hiring, onboarding, feedback, and the conversations that are hard-but importantSupport first-time managers as they build confidence, capability, and steady leadership habitsOffer practical guidance that helps leaders make good calls independentlyBring steadiness to sensitive people situations-partnering with fairness, discretion, and careShape people practices that work in clinicsTranslate People programs into clinic-ready practices that fit real workflowsCall out where centralized approaches miss the mark-and help improve themHold the line on consistency while honoring the nuance of frontline, clinical settingsHelp scale with intentionUse what you see in clinics to inform workforce planning, role design, and growth decisionsSpot patterns early-strain, inconsistency, or risk-and help address them before they escalateHelp define what great clinic scale looks like from a People perspectiveMinimum Requirements6-8 years of progressive HR Business Partner/People Partner experience, including direct support of leaders in an operations-heavy environmentExperience partnering with frontline teamsSteady, thoughtful approach to sensitive people situations and complex conversations-balancing fairness, judgment, and discretionStrength in coaching and influencing leaders (including first-time leaders) through sensitive and complex situationsClear, human communication (written and verbal); able to turn organization-wide standards and best practices into practical, everyday guidance for clinic leadersOpenness to being close to the work: present in clinics and willing to travel as neededAbout titles at NekoWe use a simplified internal title framework that prioritises clarity over hierarchy, so internal titles may differ from market-facing role titles.
