The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of the surgical services, including a focus on surgeon relationships, increasing operational efficiencies, and ensuring the smooth running of daily operations. This role requires a proven subject matter expert in perioperative services, with the ability to drive culture change and operational excellence. The Interim AVP will also be tasked with proactively addressing challenges and ensuring the best possible outcomes for both patients and the surgical team. Applicants for the Interim AVP position must have a BSN, with a master's degree strongly preferred, and an active RN license. The role demands a leader with exceptional collaboration, communication, and leadership skills, who can effectively manage a team of approximately five FTEs. The ideal candidate will be available to start within 2-3 weeks of acceptance and should be prepared to make a significant impact in a short period. Experience in a similar leadership role and a background in a large healthcare setting are highly valued.
