Position InformationPosting Number PT601 Job Title ADJUNCT - INSTRUMENTATION POOL Department Industrial Technology Position Type Faculty Employment Status Adjunct Salary Adjunct Stipend Open Date 11/12/2025 Close Date Open Until Filled NoPosition Summary InformationJob Description SummaryADJUNCT – INSTRUMENTATION:The successful applicant will be expected to provide quality instruction in all phases of Instrumentation Technology and related areas including but not limited to safety instrumented systems, automation programming and development, repair, inspection and calibration of Industrial instrumentation equipment and technologies.The Adjunct Instructor teaches courses that could include online courses and or dual-credit/early college classes in a variety of times and locations in response to institutional need.Minimum QualificationsAssociate of Applied Science in Instrumentation degree and five (5) years of documented work experience in Instrumentation/Automation or a related field.OR-Eight (8) or more years of documented work experience in Instrumentation/Automation or related work experience.Required Job Knowledge, Skills, AbilitiesMust possess the organizational and communication skills necessary to be an effective Instructor and the aptitudes to assist both new and returning students achieve their educational goals and objectives.Ability to plan course instruction based upon approved syllabus/ outline provided to insure course content and objectives are met.Ability to utilize a variety of teaching styles and methods to accommodate diverse learning styles of students.Ability to utilize instructional technologies including computers, internet resources and other appropriate media in instruction.Preferred QualificationsExperience in teaching.Ten (10) or more years experience in Industrial Instrumentation Technology.Special Instructions to ApplicantsApplicants must reside in the state of Texas and be eligible to work in the United States.This is a security-sensitive position.
