Media Operations Manager

About the Role: Funder Intel is a community resource hub for the business lending and fintech industries. We report the news, publish reports and analysis, host events, and define conversations for brokers, funders, and other fintech providers.We are seeking a Lead Content Producer to drive our editorial and media operations. You will work directly with the President to turn sometimes complex financial updates into compelling videos, articles, and podcasts.The Three Pillars of Your Role:1. The Newsroom (Daily Content)Monitor industry news (lending updates, Regulatory rulings, Fintech mergers) and turn them into timely blogs, social media posts, and newsletters.Manage the "Funder Intel" social media presence, creating short-form clips (Reels/Shorts) from our long-form content.Write SEO-optimized articles that rank for key industry terms.2. The Studio (Podcast Production)Guest Booking: Identify and reach out to top-tier guests (CEOs, Regulators, Top Brokers). Handle the scheduling and logistics.Pre-Production: Research guests and prepare "pre-interview" briefs, ensuring we ask the hard-hitting questions nobody else asks.Post-Production: Oversee the editing process (or edit yourself) to ensure high-quality audio/video output.3. The Field (Events & Travel)Travel to major industry trade shows and conferences.Act as a "Field Producer" on the ground: holding the camera, managing audio for impromptu interviews, and conducting "man on the street" style reporting.Turn event footage into same-day recap videos for social media.What We Need From You:Journalistic Instincts: You know how to find the "hook" in a boring press release.Multimedia Fluency: You are comfortable writing a 1,000-word article in the morning and cutting a Reel in the afternoon.
