Required Skills: Board-certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology (AP/CP) or comparable qualificationsProven expertise in surgical pathology, including GI, GU, neuropathology, dermatopathology, hematopathology, and cytologyProficiency in clinical pathology areas such as hematology, microbiology, chemistry/serology, and blood bank proceduresExperience with rapid adequacy evaluation for image-guided biopsiesFamiliarity with Epic electronic medical record systemAbility to analyze and interpret a high volume of cases (80-100 daily)Strong communication skills and team collaborationNice to Have Skills: Prior experience in a hospital-based setting with CAP accreditationSkills in grossing specimens and frozen section preparation (though not required for this role)Experience supervising or working alongside multidisciplinary healthcare teamsPreferred Education and Experience: Medical degree (MD or DO) with valid state medical licensureAt least 2 years of clinical practice in pathology, ideally within a hospital environmentCertification by the American Board of Pathology (ABP) or equivalentOther Requirements: Credentialing process to be completed within approximately 90 daysFlexibility to work day shifts between 7:30 am and 5:30 pm, with a rotation scheduleParticipation in a weekly on-call schedule (1:7 ratio), including night blood bank callNo supervision of other healthcare providers requiredAbility to travel to Minneapolis, MN (if applicable) and comply with all licensure and certification requirementsThis is an outstanding opportunity to become an integral part of a respected hospital s pathology team and to enjoy comprehensive benefits, competitive pay, weekly direct deposit, and robust support throughout your assignment.
