Maintenance Tech II (3rd Shift)
Job Summary:
This position is responsible for maintaining electrical distribution for all internal and external equipment. Performs equipment installs, demolitions and moves as needed. Troubleshoot and repair of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment. Must have working knowledge of PLCs and industrial electrical standards. Ability to weld and fabricate simple fixtures and jigs. Perform other related tasks as directed.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Maintain and repair various machines and equipment
Install electrical systems and equipment in accordance with city codes and industrial standards
Run secondary power distribution lines and circuits used to supply a wide range of voltage, amperage and phase requirements to distribution panels, power and control circuits, HVAC, robots and other equipment.
Diagnose malfunctioning equipment and repair as required.
Use preventative maintenance programs on work centers and equipment using maintenance software.
Train production operators to perform basic periodic maintenance where applicable.
Identify areas of improvement to reduce downtime and improve efficiency.
Participate as a member of the Safety Committee.
Uses “stop the line authority” at any sign of safety or quality concerns.
Qualifications / Training / Skill Requirements:
Ability to function in a team environment as a team player
Ability to prioritize tasks based on safety and quality

Excellent communication skills
Must be able to read blueprints
Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions
Must recognize the importance of working in a safe manner
Ability to understand what constitutes quality products
Possess basic math skills
Average or above average skills in numeric and visual recall
Must be computer literate
Education Requirements:
High school diploma or GED
Associates degree, journeyman electrician license or technical school degree required
PLC certification desired
Experience Requirements
Five (5) plus years of mechanical, electrical, and PLC experience
Experience with metal burning and forming equipment
Experience in a manufacturing setting involving welding, fabricating, and assembly
Knowledge of regulatory requirements of OSHA, EPA, NFPA and NEC
Physical Demands:
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Ability to stand for long periods of time
Ability to work in sometimes extreme temperatures
