Job description:Shift: Sun-Thurs 10p-6:30aLocation: Plainfield, INPosition Type: Contract to PermPay: $16 - $19/hrJob SummaryWe are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Security & Loss Prevention Specialist to help protect company assets, maintain facility security, and support safe daily operations. This role works closely with operations and leadership teams to minimize loss related to theft, vandalism, and security violations.The ideal candidate is observant, professional, and able to maintain confidentiality while working in a fast-paced environment.Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate with third-party security personnel and vendorsMonitor personnel and visitor access pointsComplete daily security checklists and incident reportsCommunicate visitor guidelines, waivers, and facility policiesConduct routine security walk-throughs of the facilityVerify dock doors and access points are secured at the end of shiftsPerform spot checks on containers and outbound materials when requiredMonitor work areas for unauthorized materials or restricted devicesInspect outbound packages for proper labels and accuracyReport security concerns or policy violations to managementEnsure visitors sign in and wear assigned badgesMonitor surveillance cameras and report equipment issuesMonitor docks, emergency exits, and restricted areas for unauthorized accessMaintain required security records and documentationHelp ensure protection of sensitive customer or company informationAssist operations team as neededSupport safety, compliance, and continuous improvement effortsQualificationsHigh school diploma or GED preferred1–3 years of related experience in security, loss prevention, or warehouse operations preferredRequired SkillsProficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)Strong verbal and written communication skillsOrganized with strong time-management abilitiesAbility to prioritize multiple tasksProfessional attitude and positive work ethicAbility to meet deadlines and follow procedures
