Whether you’re an experienced industry veteran or just starting your career, DC BLOX offers a range of opportunities for growth and development.Description SummaryThe Corporate Development Manager will support projects with the finance organization, including debt and equity capital raising and investment deal financial modeling and presentations. This role will focus on the creation and management of the financial models and will have valuable exposure to the DC BLOX C-Suite, cross-functional leaders in the company, Private Equity investors of the company, current and potential lenders, investment bankers, and industry investors on a regular basis.Essential DutiesDebt and Equity capital raising initiativesPrepare project information materials for banks and investors through close interaction with finance, new site development, sales & operations teamsCreate, maintain & update flexible, accurate & user-friendly financial modelsAssist in negotiation of financing transaction term-sheets and prepare recommendation of debt financing solutionSupervise information flow with banks, lawyers and internal constituenciesAssist in the customer agreement pricing and lease agreement negotiation processPrepare and present investment memoranda on capital raises as well as new investment opportunitiesAssist in negotiating loan documentationEnsure smooth hand-over of transaction to finance/accounting team for funding and reporting requirements, covenant compliance, etc.Coordinate with finance/accounting team on any post-closing interactions with the lenders (amendments, waivers, etc)Monitor competitors' financing structures and valuations, and maintain internal databaseDrive preparation of presentations and analysis for the Executive Team, Board of Directors, and other key stakeholders across the organizationEducation/Training/ExperienceBachelor's degree in Finance or relevant financial experience4+ years of experience in investment banking, corporate development, capital markets, consulting and/or corporate strategy, ideally in the data center industryAbility to perform due diligence, financial modeling, document processing, research, and presentation developmentFamiliar with capital raises, debt financing and acquisitionsAbility to work independently on transactions and negotiateComplete proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPointStrong written and oral communication skills
