Employees of the City who meet the minimum qualifications, outlined in the appropriate City of West Des Moines position description, are encouraged to apply.Minimum qualifications:* Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Public Administration, or related field plus five (5) years of related work experience, plus at least three (3) years of management or applicable supervisor/management training experienceOR* Employees with current continuous experience in the city that include experience equal to seven (7) years of full-time work as a Building Inspector II.Special Note: Applicants must meet minimum qualification requirements and have attached their resume and cover letter on or before Tuesday, April 14, 2026, to compete in the examination process.
