Registered Nurse – Psychiatric Care (Travel or Local)
Location: Colorado State Facility – Pueblo, CO
Pay: $2,700–$3,500 per week (36–48 hrs/week)
Contract Length: 24 weeks
Orientation Dates: May 4 & May 18, 2026 (5 openings)
SpectrumACS, a division of American Correctional Solutions, is hiring experienced Registered Nurses for 24-week assignments at a state-run psychiatric facility in Pueblo, Colorado. These positions provide care for adults in forensic and civil psychiatric units within a secure, team-based hospital environment.
Assignment Details
36 hours per week guaranteed
Many nurses average 40–48 hours per week, often earning $3,700–$4,200 depending on shift availability
12-hour shifts (Days or Nights)
Responsibilities
Provide nursing care for adults in psychiatric and forensic settings
Conduct assessments, administer medications, and complete documentation
Use de-escalation and therapeutic interventions to maintain safety
Participate in MANDT crisis management and restraint training
Requirements
Active Colorado or Compact RN license (endorsement required before start)
1–2 years of inpatient psychiatric or behavioral health experience
Current AHA BLS certification
Able to lift 50+ lbs and work weekends/holidays as scheduled
