Cash Operations/Player Services Shift Manager Swing Shift The Player Services/Cash Operations Shift Manager is responsible for assisting the Player Services/Cash Operations Manager in the successful operation of the department. Monitor, direct, supervise and observe cage action in the overall casino operations for adherence to company policies and various regulatory requirements to safeguard the casino's assets and fund. Knowledgeable of Marketing Promotions and Gaming events. Responsible for guest service, relations, and arbitrate disputes to assure that our guests have a favorable gaming experience. Assign or make changes in assignments of Team Members on assigned shifts. Submit at the end of respective shifts, all reports deemed necessary for the efficient operation of the department. Ensure the safety and security of Team Members and guests. Facilitate processes and programs to effectively control and reduce lost time injuries. Review staffing levels to maintain budgeted level of employment. Delegate authority and assign responsibilities. Development of Team Members, interviews, hiring and evaluations. Assist Cage Manager in preparation of reports and other administrative responsibilities as assigned. Review cage activities and promotions with the Manager of Cash Operations. Assure that required facilities and equipment are available, clean, and functioning properly. Establish and maintain effective channels of communication upward, downward, and laterally. Maintain an updated knowledge of Gaming Laws/Regulations and internal controls applicable to areas of responsibility. May act as Managerial Representative on Premises. Meet with Departmental Directors and Managers as necessary. Other duties as assigned. Management abilities demonstrated in managing the Cage profitability. Maintaining a professional working relationship among all personnel. Oral and written communication skills. Willingness to assume overall responsibility relative to the performance of the Cage. Two to Five years experience in cage operations and supervision with a 2-year degree in related field or equivalent work experience preferred. Able to obtain KY Racing License.
