Mobile Security Architect (Ionic)

Job Title: Mobile Security Architect (Ionic)Location: McLean, VA (Onsite)Job Type: Contract Key ResponsibilitiesArchitect secure cross-platform mobile applications using Ionic Framework, Angular, and Capacitor.Define enterprise mobile security architecture, standards, and best practices.Design secure authentication and authorization solutions using OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect (OIDC), JWT, SAML, SSO, and MFA.Implement secure communication using TLS/SSL, certificate pinning, encryption, and secure API gateways.Integrate mobile applications with enterprise APIs, microservices, identity providers, and backend systems.Design secure storage strategies using Keychain (iOS), Keystore (Android), and encrypted local storage.Conduct secure code reviews and address vulnerabilities identified through SAST, DAST, and penetration testing.Ensure compliance with OWASP Mobile Top 10, NIST, PCI-DSS, and enterprise security standards.Implement DevSecOps practices and automate security scanning within CI/CD pipelines.Required Skills10+ years of software development experience with 5+ years as a Mobile Architect or Mobile Security Architect.Strong expertise with Ionic Framework (Ionic 5/6/7) and Angular.Hands-on experience with TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and Capacitor.Strong knowledge of OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect (OIDC), JWT, SAML, SSO, MFA, and Identity Management.Experience securing REST APIs, GraphQL APIs, and microservices.Knowledge of OWASP Mobile Security, certificate pinning, encryption, secure storage, jailbreak/root detection, and code obfuscation.Experience with Firebase, push notifications, and mobile analytics.Experience implementing CI/CD using Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.Experience with Git, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS or Azure).
