We are also DBE certified by the Virginia Department of SBSD.Overview:We are looking for a highly skilled IBM Sterling Order Management System (OMS) Developer to design, develop, and support enterprise-level order management solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Sterling OMS, strong Java development skills, and a deep understanding of order lifecycle management, fulfillment, and integrations.Location: 100% Remote (EST and CST candidates)Work Status: U.S Citizen, Green Card Holder, H1B (no 3rd parties, direct hire ONLY)Clearance: Must be able to go through an enhance background check and obtain a Public Trust clearanceRequirements:3–7+ years of experience with IBM Sterling OMS development and configuration.Proficiency in Java, J2EE, XML, XSLT, JSP, JavaScript, and related technologies.Experience with Sterling Distributed Order Management (DOM) components, including sourcing, order promising, fulfillment, and inventory visibility.Hands-on experience with OMS APIs and integration points.Good knowledge of order lifecycles, fulfillment processes, and supply chain operations.Experience with containerized deployments (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift) is a plus.Familiarity with database technologies like Oracle, DB2, or PostgreSQL.Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and version control tools (e.g., Git).Strong communication and collaboration skills.Job Duties:Design, develop, and customize solutions using IBM Sterling OMS (version 9.x or 10.x).Implement order capture, sourcing, promising, orchestration, and fulfillment logic.Develop services and APIs using Java, XML, XSLT, and Sterling Application Platform (SDF/UI).Integrate OMS with external systems like WMS, ERP, CRM, and payment gateways via REST/SOAP APIs, MQ, JMS, or Kafka.Configure pipeline flows, business rules, and service definitions within OMS.Write and maintain unit and integration tests.Optimize performance and scalability of Sterling OMS applications.Work closely with business analysts, QA, architects, and DevOps to deliver high-quality solutions.Provide technical documentation and post-deployment support.Troubleshoot production issues and lead resolution efforts.
