This position plays a critical role in supporting Material Sales operations by managing inventory, coordinating material movement, and ensuring customer needs are met efficiently.Perks Of The JobStable, full-time position in a growing companyOpportunity to work with internal teams and external customersProfessional development and advancement opportunitiesCompany-provided PPE (as needed)Collaborative work environmentKey ResponsibilitiesManage all inventory operations including storage, shipping, and receiving of materialsSupport Material Sales yards with inventory needs and daily operationsMonitor inventory levels and coordinate purchasing, relocation, and disposal of materialsWork with internal and external customers on inventory forecasting and material planningMaintain accurate documentation and update tracking systems for customersBuild and maintain vendor relationshipsAssist with ordering materials and resolving inventory issuesSupport continuous improvement of inventory processes and material flowCommunicate with field personnel to coordinate proper delivery of materialsMaintain a strong focus on safety in all operationsWhat does it take to be an Inventory Manager for R. J. Corman?Experience in inventory management, shipping & receiving, or material coordinationStrong understanding of inventory systems or MRP processesAbility to multi-task, analyze data, and solve problems efficientlyStrong communication skills and ability to work with multiple teamsProficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)Associate’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience preferredAbility to occasionally travel as neededWork EnvironmentPrimarily office/shop environment with some warehouse interactionOccasional exposure to moving equipment and material handling operationsSome exposure to outdoor conditions may occurLimited lifting (generally up to 20 lbs)BenefitsR.
