Production Equipment Technician ApprenticeThe production equipment technician apprentice responsible for routine maintenance of our embroidery machines, heat seal presses, digital printers and laser machines.ScheduleMonday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PMOvertime (Saturday 7am noon) as neededEssential Duties and ResponsibilitiesRepair of Cap Frames & other machine attachments.Cleaning, lubrication and minor repairs of embroidery machinesPM on all machineryDaily record keeping of machine tasks performedAdditional duties as assigned.Skills/QualificationsAbility to follow verbal directions.Ability to read instructions in English.Ability to work in a team environment.Ability to work in a fast paced environment.Ability to perform troubleshooting/problem solving tasksAbility to work with tools and machinery.Skill set to learn how to troubleshoot and repair all equipment.Education and ExperienceHigh school diploma or equivalent preferred.Supervisory ResponsibilitiesNonePhysical DemandsAbility to stand for extended periods of time.Repetitive use of hands, fingers and arms.Ability to demonstrate fine dexterity skills.Ability to move about the facility.Ability to climb, bend, reach, kneel and crouch.Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as needed.Vision RequirementsClose and distance vision.Vision to be able to thread a needle.Color vision.The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to this classification.
