Role Description This is a flexible, on-site role for a Caregiver based in Grand Rapids, MI. The Caregiver will assist clients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation. Responsibilities include light housekeeping, medication reminders, and companionship to promote emotional well-being. The Caregiver will also assist with mobility, transportation to appointments, and other errands to support clients in maintaining an independent lifestyle. Qualifications Proficient in assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as bathing, grooming, and eatingExperience in light housekeeping, meal preparation, and maintaining a clean and organized environmentStrong communication and interpersonal skills to provide companionship and emotional supportBasic knowledge of medication reminders and handling emergency situationsPhysical ability to assist with mobility, including lifting or transferring clientsValid driver's license and reliable transportation preferredCPR and First Aid certification is a plusHigh school diploma or equivalent required; additional training in caregiving or healthcare is an advantageDemonstrated ability to work compassionately in diverse settings while maintaining professionalism
