The freedom to pursue new ideas, offer different perspectives, and grow in your career is fundamental to working at Dorman.Job SummaryWe are seeking a Network Engineer to support, maintain, and optimize enterprise network infrastructure across LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, wireless, and cloud-connected environments. This role will be responsible for ensuring reliable and secure network operations, troubleshooting complex connectivity issues, implementing infrastructure improvements, and supporting network security initiatives. The Network Engineer will work closely with managed service providers, cybersecurity teams, and internal IT stakeholders to maintain high availability and performance across enterprise networking environments. The ideal candidate will possess strong networking fundamentals, hands-on experience with Cisco and Meraki technologies, and the ability to independently execute network projects and operational initiatives.This is a hybrid role in our corporate headquarters in suburban Philadelphia (Colmar, PA) with the expectation to be onsite two days per week.Primary Duties• Monitor, maintain, and optimize enterprise network infrastructure and connectivity• Troubleshoot and resolve routing, switching, wireless, VPN, and connectivity issues• Configure and maintain network devices including switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless infrastructure• Support LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, and cloud-connected networking environments• Administer DHCP, DNS, VPN, and other core network services• Perform network device upgrades, patching, and lifecycle management activities• Participate in infrastructure expansion, site deployments, and network modernization projects• Support network monitoring, alerting, and operational visibility initiatives• Coordinate with managed service providers and vendors to support infrastructure operations• Create and maintain network diagrams, SOPs, and technical documentation• Support security, compliance, and vulnerability remediation initiatives• Participate in disaster recovery planning and testing activities• Participate in on-call rotation as required• Travel up to 25% as required• Perform additional duties as assignedQualificationsStrong understanding of enterprise networking and security conceptsExperience supporting Cisco and Meraki networking environmentsExperience with routing, switching, VLANs, VPNs, and wireless networkingExperience supporting SD-WAN technologiesStrong understanding of DHCP, DNS, and IP networking servicesFamiliarity with firewall technologies and network security best practicesExperience with network monitoring and troubleshooting toolsExposure to Azure and/or AWS networking concepts preferredFamiliarity with change management and IT operational processesStrong communication and customer service skillsExcellent troubleshooting and analytical abilitiesStrong organizational and documentation skillsAbility to work independently and manage multiple prioritiesAbility to collaborate effectively with team members, vendors, and business stakeholdersKey AccountabilitiesNetwork uptime and performanceReliable and secure enterprise connectivitySuccessful implementation of infrastructure projectsTimely resolution of network incidents and service disruptionsAccurate network documentation and operational proceduresCompliance with security and change management standardsEducation / Experience• 3+ years of networking experience in an enterprise environment• Experience supporting Cisco and Meraki networking technologies• Experience supporting LAN/WAN, wireless, and SD-WAN environments• Experience participating in network infrastructure projects and operational support activitiesRelevant Certifications (Desirable)Cisco CCNA or CCNPCompTIA Network+ or CompTIA Security+Azure Fundamentals, AWS Cloud Practitioner, or equivalent cloud certificationITIL Foundation#LI-EK1The US base salary range for this full-time position is $76,200.00 to $111,900.00. This role is also eligible for a bonus. The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will depend on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge and skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal pay equity.
