Estimator and Inside Sales Engineer

Perform estimating and inside sales activities for electrical power equipment field engineering services and testing scope of work. Projects involve low, medium and high voltage power systems. This position will be hybrid dividing the workweek between working from the office and remotely. The AEC Canada Inc. position requires limited supervision and will be based in Montreal Canada. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Respond to customers bid requests and internal requests from AEC Research on-line bid opportunities Analyze and interpret electrical blueprints, specifications and addendums Clarify electrical testing scope of work with customer estimators, project managers and engineers of record Obtain pricing from vendors for equipment repairs, parts and other AEC departments Prepare computer-based estimates Participate in bid strategy meeting as requested Generate reports, project bid status, PO's received Prepare draft proposal for AEC Outside Sales Engineer Work closely with Outside Sales Engineer Facilitate contract hand off to AEC Operations and Engineering department including job assumptions QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB REQUIREMENTS 3 years minimum experience Excellent verbal and written communication skills in French and English Valid driver's license and clean DMV record Self motivated individual with highly developed organizational skills People oriented team player Good judgment and highly dependable Computer softwares literate Two years College degree LOCATION Montreal, Canada (hybrid: office & remote) J-18808-Ljbffr
