Network Administrator

Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Network Administrator with a minimum of 5 years of experience supporting enterprise networks in a 3rd-party logistics (3PL) or high-availability operational environment. This role is critical to ensuring reliable, secure, and high-performance network connectivity across warehouses, distribution centers, and corporate offices that operate in a 24/7 logistics setting. This position is an in-person full time position at our corporate office in Kennesaw GA. Must be willing to travel to all Atlanta Campus' sites with some travel out of state.The ideal candidate understands the operational impact of network downtime on warehouse management systems (WMS), transportation management systems (TMS), barcode/RF scanning, and customer integrations. Key Responsibilities Design, implement, and support LAN, WAN, WLAN, VPN, and SD-WAN infrastructure across warehouses, distribution centers, and corporate officesEnsure high availability and performance for mission-critical logistics systems including WMS, TMS, ERP, RF scanners, conveyors, and automation systemsManage and optimize warehouse wireless networks (high-density Wi-Fi for RF handhelds, tablets, and IoT devices)Monitor network health and proactively resolve latency, packet loss, and connectivity issues impacting operationsConfigure and maintain routing, switching, VLANs, QoS, and IP addressing schemesImplement and maintain network security controls including firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, and segmentation for customer and operational networksSupport integrations with customers, carriers, and 3PL partners via secure network connectionsPerform network upgrades, expansions, and site deployments for new warehouses or customer onboardingProvide on-call or after-hours support to meet 24/7 operational requirementsMaintain accurate network documentation, diagrams, and standard operating proceduresCollaborate with IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, automation, and operations teamsWork with vendors, ISPs, and managed service providers to resolve issues and optimize servicesRequired Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent experienceMinimum 5 years of experience as a Network Administrator or Network EngineerProven experience supporting warehouse, logistics, or distribution center networksStrong understanding of TCP/IP, routing protocols, switching, VLANs, and QoSHands-on experience with enterprise networking equipmentExperience managing large-scale wireless networks in warehouse environmentsStrong troubleshooting skills in time-critical, operationally sensitive environmentsAbility to work independently and handle multiple prioritiesPreferred Qualifications Network certifications (Network+, CWNA/CWSP, Cloud/hybrid or equivalent)Experience with SD-WAN and multi-site connectivityKnowledge of cloud networking (AWS, Azure, or GCP)Familiarity with logistics systems (WMS, TMS, ERP) and RF/barcode scanning infrastructureExperience with IoT network connectivityScripting or automation experience (PowerShell, Python, Bash)Soft Skills Strong communication skills with both technical teams and warehouse operationsAbility to work under pressure in a fast-paced, 24/7 environmentHigh attention to detail and documentationCustomer-service mindset with a focus on operational continuityBenefits Competitive salaryHealth, dental, and vision insuranceRetirement plan optionsPaid time off and holidaysTraining and certification opportunitiesOnsite exercise equipmentPowered by JazzHR
